The Smugmug service I use to host my images has an excellent and easy to use purchasing system. I have had literally hundreds of clients purchase prints without a single complaint. Smugmug uses the best professional photo labs in the country so the prints are beautiful and the packaging protects your prints. When viewing a photograph in the gallery, simply hit the purchase button and select the size of print you desire. Based on the size print you select, there may be cropping required. This is just like any photo print shop. Smugmug makes cropping easy allowing you to simply slide the cropping view until it looks like you want it. At checkout you may pay using any of the convenient methods you desire.

There's a very good reason for the watermark being in the online viewed version - in my opinion of course. First, I have attempted to provide online image viewing sizes which are of sufficient size and detail for you to form an opinion as to whether or not you like the image and additionally its suitability for your purchasing decision. Second, I realize that many people will use the images in the varying online environments where photo sharing if prevalent. Understanding that, I may as well do my best to get a little marketing or credit for my images that find their way to these sites. It's only fair, no?
Another reason for the watermarks is that I allow and promote musicians using the images I take of them in their performances on their websites, blogs, etc. I am a huge supporter of live music in Charlotte and lend my abilities to these performing artists at what the market would view as very attractive rates. The web images are free, 4x6 prints are less than a buck, 5x7's less than two bucks, etc. I make a small profit when the print approaches a size which would be considered art and not a simple family use in the living room image such as 16X20 and larger.
No prints created from my digital negatives will contain any text overlays.
I currently shoot with Canon 1Ds Mark III digital SLR (21 MP) and Canon 20D Digital SLR (8.2MP), using a variety of Canon professional L series lenses. Over time I add lenses to achieve varying desired outcomes. As a result, all of my digital negatives exceed the density and resolution required for the size prints I offer including posters and billboards. Additionally I utilize a mobile portrait studio with multiple strobes, umbrellas, backdrops, etc. For a complete detailed list of equipment please send me an email.
For underwater photography I use the Canon 20D Digital SLR, Ikelite Underwater housing, Ikelite DS125 strobe, Canon 100mm Macro, 50mm macro & 15-35mm 2.8L wide angle lenses, along with the appropriate lens port.
All images contained in my Pro SmugMug galleries accept credit cards as payment for prints, downloads and the various other products available.
