1. How do I order prints from your gallery?

After selecting the print you are interested in from the portfolio gallery either email me or contact me via telephone at (704)226-6813. I'll need the image name/number you are interested in. If you desire a print, I'll need to know the size of the print you want and if you wish a Gallery style so I can prepare it for printing.

Once payment has been made I can generally have the print shipped within 24 hours.

If you email me I will respond within 24 hours as long as I'm not out of town on a shoot. If you get voicemail on my phone, please leave a message and I will return your call as soon as possible.

2. Where can I find info on updates or projects you have underway?

In addition to regular visits to the Monty Chandler Photography gallery, I do provide updates on highlighted project completions on a couple of my blog sites. These can be located at the following links:

3. Why do the images contain your copyright info and will my prints contain it?

I have attempted to provide an image which is of sufficient size and detail for you to form an opinion as to whether or not you like the image and additionally its suitability for your purchasing decision. Unfortunately, there is no way to truly protect these images so, I have chosen to display my images in such a fashion as to maximize your viewing ability while at the same time limiting what is freely available.

No prints created from my digital negatives will contain any text overlays.

4. What equipment do you use?

I currently shoot with Canon Ds1 Mark III digital SLR (21 MP) and Canon 20D Digital SLR (8.2MP), using a variety of Canon lens'. Over time I add lenses to achieve varying desired outcomes. As a result, all of my digital negatives exceed the density and resolution required for the size prints I offer.

For underwater photography I use the Canon 20D Digital SLR, Ikelite Underwater housing, Ikelite DS125 strobe, Canon 100mm Macro, 50mm macro & 15-35mm wide angle lenses, along with the appropriate lens port.

5. When will you begin accepting credit cards for payment?

I have not decided this yet. While it would truly be easier to allow folks to pay by credit card and receive their print without ever talking to me, I'm not yet convinced that is the best way to conduct business. By accepting personal checks, or PayPal, and actually communicating with people, I am able to ensure that you get exactly the print you want, the way you want it, when you want it, and where you want it. For certain - your satisfaction and my service excellence are paramount to me. Call it achieving "Client Delight".

6. Can your prints be purchased matted and framed?

I'm happy to provide this added service for you if you desire me to do so. As part of our communications, just let me know and I'll provide a quote for you. There's a lot of options available when it comes to framing. As the print, the matting, and the frame need to go with the location you are going to present it, I've generally found that people enjoy completing that aspect of their overall project themselves.
